Oh. My. Word.

...So, I haven't blogged in a while. Sorry about that. Is it sad that my excuse is still the Holidays? Ya know...they were only over a month ago, but I'm still catching up. ;o) As I write, there is a slight dusting of snow on the ground that is quickly melting away, and my eager almost-four-year old is desperately trying to round up enough of it to make a snow man.  I warned her he might be fairy-sized. We'll see. But thankfully, I have important blogs to write so I am not available to be out in the cold right this moment. Been there, done that... it's not my favorite. Hit me up in July... I'm all about outside pool play. This time of year I'm more likely to be found sipping coffee or tea (I'm newly obsessed) whilst I do whatever inside. On the sad day that I do have to leave my warm house and do something, I bundle up like A Christmas Story and run to the car fast as I can. Heated seats need to be toasty too. I'm very spoiled.
Oh my lanta. I was just channel surfing for some better background noise, and I passed Moesha. Flashback much? #90skid #yesimhashtaggingmyblog
Anyways, landed on Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows in case anyone was wondering. I just saw this movie like 2 weeks ago for the first time. Good. But I find with complicated story lines, like this one, I have to watch it at least twice to understand it all.  Maybe that's just me, but hopefully not. Just so you also know, I will not make it through this whole movie again this afternoon...I don't get hours of breaks during the day. LOL, literally as soon as I had typed "day", I heard "Mommy...", followed by knocks on the door.  So, I'm back after we undressed her, made some popcorn and hot chocolate, got cozy with a blanket on the couch... Oh yes, and changed the channel to Disney Jr. :o) Some other day, Sherlock...
Speaking of my almost-four-year old....She actually turns four next freaking week! It's a Hello Kitty birthday party, and I still haven't decided if we're doing one of those huge chocolate chip cookie cakes, cupcakes, a regular cake, or ice cream cake. Apparently, there are way too many options for this indecisive mind.  I seriously can't believe we're at the four marker though...waaaay too fast. She is so much a GIRL now, not a baby/toddler/whatever anymore. I see her growing SO MUCH every day.  I pray she continues to love God more with every day. Sooo intimidating when I think of the huge, unkind world out there my precious, wide-eyed, naive baby will have to face. Equally encouraging to know that she doesn't have to face it alone, and I don't have to worry over her. Her days are in God's hands and that is such a comforting thought! Happy -almost- birthday babygirl. <33333
Welp, I think that's all I got for today...considering I have much to attempt to accomplish during crazybaby's naptime! Until next time... <3
